I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello fuckers. My name's Chris Cormier. No I'm not the black bodybuilder you would come up with if you were to google that same name, I'm the bass player for Chicago rock and roll band THE SLEEPERS . We kind of rule. We've been played on The Loop, Q101, XRT, and our tunes have been licensed by Sony, MTV, VH1, A&E, and The Oxygen Network in shows like Rob and Big, The Real World, Road Rules, That f'n gauntlet show, Sons of Hollywood, Love Monkey, The Rock Life, and The Bad Girls Club. Basically my point is if you haven't heard of us by now it means that you are dumb and need to be shot at.Our debut album "Push it Nationwide" is out now on Rocksauce Records and you can pick one up right on our myspace page or at various fine establishments and websites including itunes and napster. Please buy one and put my sperm which will eventually become my kids (I hope not anytime soon) through college.
Our new album will be out next month!!!! Watch for more details on the record release party and all that other good stuff.
I love music more than anything and I refuse to do anything that doesn't involve it. I go to more concerts than any man should. I could never fall asleep without tunes playing, If you have a problem sleeping with music on then don't sleep over. You've been warned.
I like going on the road and playing rock and roll music for rock and roll fans out in the middle of nowhere who can't normally get good LIVE rock and roll unless The Sleepers come to town. The road is pretty tough sometimes, ask Manno, there are gas station sandwiches, people that appreciatedsds your cover tunes, lots of driving, The West Lafayette Inn, dudes that can't even pull off a simple fist pound, Las Vegas, and 4 am corn dogs for 69 cents, but in some strange kind of way I'm living my dream right now and there definitely can't be anything wrong with that my friends. amen.
I like meeting freaks. The stranger the better. I like to write. I love the Cubs!! I know, but I'm fucking sticking with them. That's my team and I bleed when they bleed, which is pretty much all the time. I like Enchiladas Rojas. I like Netflix. I like leaving town all of the time. I like Summerfest. I enjoy Avocado. I like to travel, but I love Chicago. This is my home and hopefully it always will be. This city rules and I feel there is something to be said for growing some f'n roots.
I'm a creature of habit. I usually know where I'm going. I like when it rains. I've spent more time sleeping in cars/trucks then I'd care to mention here. I would like to attend three rock shows a day please. I have a fast right hand. I was on the Bozo show when I was like 7, but they wouldn't let me throw the balls in the buckets. One word, disappointing. I will not move to a smaller room. I will always be that kid that fucked up the Ferris Wheel. I don't go to clubs unless they are rock clubs. I have a fantastic girlfriend who is more than willing to watch horror movies with me. People call me Ms. Garrett. I am making my profile less violent. Sometimes when I go to sleep I put my pillows and my head where my feet normally go just so when I wake up I'll be confused for like ten seconds. I don't know what about that's entertaining. The party in the parking lot may be my arch nemesis. I have a chair, king of the castle, king of the castle, do this/do that/do this/do that. Alpine Valley is my favorite fucking place on earth. I have been called the master of the full-nelson. I like your dog. Tell it to give me paw and I will give it some table scraps. See, it will work for everyone.
Wait. Why are you still on this page?? Go to the Sleepers page and listen to some rock and roll music.

My Interests

Rocking.

I'd like to meet:

Neve Campbell or Sarah Silverman. That is all. Nobody else. If you're not one of those two people I'm thinking maybe you should get off of my page. Thank you.

Now sit back and enjoy some live Sleepers footage below. Nice!!!
