Throne Apart

Throne Apart formed in late 2003 to realize their vision of an innovative, new style of metal common to each member. The goal was to develop a sound that crossed boundaries and genres, and to create the sound they had each been searching for. The 9-month writing process for their self-titled EP was constantly evolving to accomodate for the intricate vocal stylings of Juri Rollo, and the technical leads and rhythms of new guitarist Yegor Zakharov.The recording process began in February 2004 at MusicAlchemy Studios in Toronto, and the unique style that the band had sought after quickly took shape. In June 2004, the combined efforts of everyone involved in the development process finally came to fruition at the independently recorded self-titled EP's completion. This landmark recording is merely the tip of the iceberg for what is to come.The birth of Throne Apart's first release was marked on June 25, 2004 at an extremely intense release party at the Poor Alex Cabaret in Toronto. Accompanied by some of Toronto's heaviest acts, the night proved to be a thrashing debut for Throne Apart.Throne Apart is currently commencing the writing process for their first full-length album, with an anticipated release date of 2005.
