She started writting poetry at the age of nine, and songs by her early teens. Although, her true love is making music, she began producing at eighteen and created StickyItky Productions. She has worked with local artist such as: Mack-Nice on mixtapes/albums, "Go Hard or Go Home", and "Written in Blood", Diesel Don of Lock Down Int, and female rappers Butta-T and Camay.In 2004-2005, C.I. attended I.A.R. (Institute of Audio Research), where she graduted as an audio engineer. After that C.I. interned at Soul Skool and Dark Child studio's. Then she went on to further her knowledge in audio at World Wide Audio, where she worked on numerous films such as: "Twisted Fortune" starring Charlie Murphy, "First Comes Love" starring Vanessa Williams, "Rock the Paint" which was produced by Wyclef Jean along with others just to name a few. She also plays the saxophone and trumpet, a trumpet that was given by Miles Davis to her late uncle Charlton a.ka. "The Piano Man", who played piano for Billie Holiday. Further into her musical background, C.I. is a cousin of the late James Brown, and Whitney Houston, so there is natural music in her blood. She has been in numerous beat battles, and networking events across the tri-state area. Also, check her out in September of "06" issue in Generation Next magazine. Shes always working to perfect her craft in producing and engineering. C.I.'s style is a combination of the old mixed with the new. She loves to listen to Hip-Hop, R&B, jazz, reggae, pop, dance/club and some rock. Her style is very versatile and open to all aspects of music. C.I.'s inspirations include, James Brown, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind & Fire, Dr.Dre, The Neptunes, Jus Blaze, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes, and Berry Gordy.
