Miss Mo

That's Numberwang!

About Me

In a nutshell I'm a failed dancer desperately clinging on to my twenties for dear life! ;-)

My Interests

Music, live gigs, movies, grooving, (I'd also like to add 'practising on my decks' but that's just become a Mo myth)

I'd like to meet:

Some friends other than Tom (although I'm sure he's a thoroughly nice chap)

Music:

The likes of: Otis, Little Stevie Wonder, The Fab Four, Led Zep, Janis J, Aerosmith, Radiohead, The mighty Foos, The 'orrible Who, Marvin Gaye, Sam & Dave, Ella Fitzgerald, Kings of Leon, early Prince, early Michael Jackson (pre face fckage), Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Bowie,... A bit o jazz, bit o jive, some dance trance n electro-pop, some new stuff, mostly old stuff, a bit of drum n bass, 70's Disco classics FO' SHO, classical, no cuntry and western - except Dolly Parton (+ Kenny Rogers), NO nu metal nonsense... no, no, no

Movies:

I love loads of films... just don't ever ask me to relay what happened - I have the memory span of a gnat. I like films that make me laugh - I've become a little less enthralled with gore and jumpies. My all time classics include: The Goonies, Coming to America, Shaun of the Dead, The Young Master, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Singin' in the Rain, The Big Lebowski, Edward Scissorhands, To Have and Have Not, West Side Story, The Life of Brian, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ghostbusters, Best in Show, Memento, Leon (Director's Cut), American Beauty, Wayne's World, Ghostbusters, Little Shop of Horrors, Fargo. Recent loves include: Dead Man's Shoes, Amelie, Kung-Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, 28 Days Later, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pirates of the Carribean, Love Actually, Batman Begins, Superman Returns...

Television:

Comedies such as Spaced, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Fawlty Towers, Operation Good Guys, Blackadder, Seinfeld, Nighty Night, Adam + Joe, Peep Show, Green Wing, etc. Nick Broomfield/Louis Theroux style documentaries.

Books:

I really enjoy reading... I just haven't read anything particularly credible. My passion for novels began at 12 when I read Flowers in the Attic (twice)...(GAAAAAY!) And from then on I read any old trash. Chick books aplenty. Recently I've enjoyed The Time Traveller's wife, The Lovely Bones, Forget you Had a Daughter, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas etc etc. I collect Roald Dahl and short stories. How hardcore am I?!

Heroes:

Janis Joplin, Sylvie Guillem, Banksy, The Hoff (for his steely determination to succeed without talent)
