Gallo's unique femme-chic funk-rock-jazz-pop style is the brainchild of Miss Natasha Koczy and Miss Bonnie Curtis who started playing together back in the Leeds College of Music days. They've been spreading the love ever since across the north, bringing joy to themselves and their audiences.
Their songwriting bucks the stereotype of angsty female singer-songwriters and the live Gallo experieince is a breath of fresh air amid the wealth of hair-cut sappy indie boy bands - they like having fun, writing great music and playing it live!
Some entirely genuine quotes:
"Gallo are like the The Chilis shagging Tom Jones on a bus driven by Germaine
Greer's evil twin with a splash of 80's nu-wave/metal/age pyjamas jam spleen"
The NME
"Despite their powerful performance Gallo offer a smooth, comfortable ride and are surprisingly economical to run" What Car magazine
"Gallo will send your mind into meltdown with their fantastic reviews"
The Times
"I can't believe I work here, please kill me" The NME again
