About Me

I am a guy who kicks the world into little fucking pieces. - Future

"I don't believe in organized religion, because I don't believe people should be organized in how they think, in what they believe." - Robert Redford

my eyes, my thoughts, my walk | it's my time to f in rock. hit me on my hip with your kung-fu grip. i'll be on my pirate ship.

I love Yoga . . . namaste. You might catch me in Newport getting flexible 'round 47th street. I play ball over at the Bay Club.

Qualities I cherish in my friends: spontaneity, laughter, honesty, originality, unique thought & style

I'm an entrepreneur. I own a Buenos Aires real estate firm. I'm doing what I want now . . . foregoing the safety net and the perks of corporate life. I value my time, my youth and my energy. . . and I hope to have enough money to travel everywhere.

I'm agnostic, which basically means: "a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience." (Source: Dictionary.com) I never blindly believe. Absolutely never. I'm a leader; I don't follow other people. I learn from those around me, but I find my own path.

Know this, if you live here and now, in the present, you can be your own god. I empower myself. I also recognize that I'd be nowhere without the support of my parents, brother, family and friends. Thank you all for the love, the hugs, and the warmth. I really like hugs . . . especially a brand-new hug from a stranger. It sounds strange, but whenever I embrace a new person, I can feel their vibrant energy in my bones. I'm in awe of the power of touch . . . the communication that's sparked from physical contact is priceless.

Fact: When I lived in Buenos Aires, I convinced a woman and her son that I was a vampire.

Bjork said: "Lust for comfort Suffocates the soul" . . . I like to be uncomfortable. And my thoughts and actions may make you uncomfortable.

My Inspiration

Rudyard Kipling's "If--"

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

My Interests

humanity. it's oddities, intricacies and predictabilities.

thought. my brain moves fast - zinggg!

history. sometimes history is the best novel.

religion. marx: "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people."

philosophy. especially objectivism, buddhism and free market capitalism. i'm writing a book in my mind: dykatamism . . . pick it up at your local book shop!

psychology. one of my passions is understanding the motives that precipitate our actions, and inaction. if i can understand someone's psyche, then i can empathize with them or manipulate them (thank you sun tzu).

politics. i am neither a republican, nor democrat. i'm an independent thinker, and i hope that in the future my countrymen, and the world will stop following inept leaders and lead themselves. i also believe it's more intelligent to discuss the issue, and leave the partisanship in the garbage where it belongs. in so many of my political discussions, i find people contradicting themselves based upon their idea of what a political group is or is NOT. (i.e. conservatism is rooted in conservation . . . so yeah,w words do have meaning ignoramus.)

acting. i like to role-play for fun and one of my goals is to do an independent film. i've been in a ninjadocumentarypsychosurfsessionshow.

live music. i love bargain music, the lbc growlers, camp clovenhoof, dave matthews and burnt live.

language. currently immersing myself in spanish (i own a business in argentina), with italian on the horizon (my cultural heritage). then maybe french . . . it does sound sexy, admit it freedomfryfucker.

learning and discovering knowledge; this is what i am most passionate about. learning, and doing. and smiling. i like to smile. and if you can make me laugh, i will cherish you by freezing you in a cryogenic chamber and saving you for all time.

authors: roald dahl, ayn rand, charles bukowski, robert greene, sun tzu, neil struss, mystery, the 14th dalai lama ... read them. you can learn so much.

Heroes:

Mom - aka Wonderwoman - she gives great hugs! She's the most genuine person I know. Her acute intelligence does not diminish her compassion, which is the risk in genius. She taught me the power of love, affection and generosity - and how the three together bond family and friends.

Damian, my brother. He's a bright light.

Catherine Kennedy, my grandmother, she read me many interesting stories - she was the main force behind my passion for learning and reading. She also overcame adversity and taught me self-determination.

John Galt, the hero-ideal from "Atlas Shrugged," for his self-respect and self-empowerment.

Jesus, from the Bible, for his wide perspective and empathy.

I respect many people for their accomplishments, attitudes, intelligence, wit, passions, drive, humor, strengths, patience, ideas, love, warmth ... and so much more.
