About Me

I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

I'm an actor/musician/producer/engineer.I'm a strange agent, in the fact that I have really varied interests and tastes. I'm also the worst type of geek being that I don't think that I am one, and that is the worst type of denial. My Interests

Film, music, stand up comedy, wine, home renovation, random acts of apathy, and travel.

I'd like to meet:

I'll know when I meet them. OK,...I'll admit,...here's one.object width="425" height="350"

Music:

Daniel Lanois, Peter Gabriel, Roxy Music, Tom Waits, Godhead, Sisters of Mercy, Sade, Crystal Method, Manson, lounge, smooth jazz, Weekend Players, George Winston, Lobelia Sabo, Brian Porterfield, Ish, Todd Burge, Moon, 63 Eyes, Billy Matheny, Hogblast, and Treasure Cat.

Movies:

RIGHT NOW, AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED: BETTER LUCK YESTERDAY IS THE MOST ANTICIPATED FILM OF THE YEAR!!!"See it with someone that owes you money!" If forced to give a top ten favorite movies, they might be, well today anyway,..in no particular order:Slingblade, The Tao of Steve, Angelheart, Office Space, Sideways, Swingers, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, American Psycho, High Fidelity, & Wild at Heart. With special consideration to A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, and Best of Show!Ask me again tomorrow and there will probably be changes to this list.

Television:

The Simpsons, The Soup, Reno 911, The Travel Channel, The Comedians of Comedy, Seinfeld reruns, Drawn Together, The King of Queens, anything about ghosts/lost civilizations/elusive beasts, and assorted creatures of the night. Everyday Italian, Good Eats, E News, VH1 Pop Culture whatevers, Bands Reunited, and Entourage. This makes it seem like I watch a lot of TV, but that isn't really true. If I do, it's out of boredom when I'm staying in WV working in PGH. When I'm in LA, I rarely watch TV. I'd rather be at the beach, at The Dresden,...or Bar Sinister.mspmb src="http://www.comedycentral.com/events/susd/badge.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="224" height="116" flashvars="appPath=http://www.

Books:

I'm a big Henry Miller fan. I also like James Joyce. But I just tend to read career oriented material, lately. Sad, but true.

Heroes:

I find inspiration in people with consistency of character, a tough yet peaceful spirit, and compassion for our fellow humans. So that leaves out the entire BUSH administration, I guess.

My Blog

less than perfect ?

I was just emailing with a friend the other day about how High School is either the defining moment in your life,..your peak, as it were - or just another horrible phase to get thru on the way to bett...

I am the BRINGER OF WRATH,..or biscuits. My apologies to Jeff and of course, Eddie I.

I was musing the other day about something bizarre. I was considering the fact that although I grew up in WV, I've lived in Atlanta, New Orleans, and LA -each of them on two different occasions and ea...

A Quarter or just 2 dimes and a nickle bag?

Took a long walk today,..to the outskirts, if you will. Went on a journey to buy some household things, and find a decent grocery store. Not decent as in a Whole Foods Market, but d...

Tale of Two Cities-finally continues.

It was brought to my attention that my New Orleans blog stopped after the first day. Although that might be symbolic of the typical debauchery of that city, it turned out to be both a time issue and u...

A Tale of Two Cities, part deux. Episode One: "Do they still call it a Hurricane? Even after Katrina?" Is it disrespectful to call my attempts to get rid of my hangover "Post Hurricane Recovery Effor...

Day 3,...NEW ORLEANS

Instead of sticking to my typical low stress schedule, I decided to add a few hundred extra miles to today's run and get into New Orleans in enough time to spend two days here, instead of some random ...

Day 2,....TEXAS.

They say that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.     Actually, the people were very nice.

Day One---"the desert"

Yesterday I started my long arsed trip back East. I started in Ontario, CA and worked my way thru the desert, ended up in Lordsburg, NM. So far so good, I guess. I'm just dealing with being tired, str...

Due to an amazing fluke, this Jamaican couple that I met here (they still live in Jamaica) at a songwriter workshop back like 6 years ago, are back in town for the same conference. We rehooked up via ...
