My Interests

creation, expansion, learning and teaching, festivals with funky music and unity, traveling,I like typewriters WAYYY more than computers, dancing, bubbles, getting dizzy, playing with my dog, Rocky, cooking vegan food, writing poetry, short stories, and novels, self-publishing, jamming, meeting worthwhile animals, sewing, barefoot adventures, health, camping, outdoor fires, organic foods, cliffs, the ocean, and trees!

I'd like to meet:

That rare, shiny breed of humans that create, stay at home mamas, fellow teachers and students, unschoolers, people who sew or craft, festival people, funky folks, holistic healers, vegans, those who love themselves and respect our Mother Earth

Music:

The music we create !!! Ups and downs. Phish, TOOL, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Andrew Bird, Nirvana, Galactic, Seu Jorge, Bela Fleck, some David Bowie (hehe), old Manson, Kyle O'Rourke on the Jug, Dave Matthews Band, A Perfect Circle, Jimi, The Doors, Great Big Sea, CCR, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, old Dredg, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Keller Williams, Aloke Dutta, Vida Blue, Mike Gordon, Trey Anastasio, African percussion music, Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, a lot of classical, Ani, Fiona Apple, Bob Marley, fiddle music, Tori Amos, Jazz Mandolin Project, Marc Spahn, and much much more...

Movies:

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Life Aquatic, Alice in Wonderland, Billy Jack, Willy Wonka, Forrest Gump, Steal This Movie, Where The Buffalo Roam, A Clockwork Orange, The Seventh Seal (any Ingmar Bergman), Fight Club, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish, Waking Life, What the Bleep Do We Know, The Royal Tenebaums, Star Wars, Rushmore, Martin and Orloff, IT (Phish, not Stephen King!), Sicko, Hitchhiker's Guide, really cheesy sci-fi, the list goes on...

Television:

tv is manipulation. end your mindless fluff already!

Books:

Hiccups in History, The dictionary, thesaurus, Alice In Wonderland, The Hitchhiker's Saga, Sartre, Nietzche (especially Thus Spoke Zarathustra), Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. is my favorite author. Slapstick is classic!!! alternative health books, the works of Hunter S. Thompson, Hegemony or Survival by Noam Chomsky, Catcher In the Rye, the poetry of Allen Ginsberg, and more. Most of all, anti-stable by draw-guess. Enough said.

Heroes:

Animals who find happiness amongst their struggles, who fight for what they believe in, who love themselves and our Mother Earth, who are not afraid of change, who do not need mirrors to know they are beautiful, who create their waking and sleeping life as they wish, who spread their voice and art as far as their reach may travel...
