Myspace BackgroundsI'm an avid animal lover who is currently petless (unfortunately) and I plan on going back to college in a couple of years to become either a primatologist or animal behavior researcher (or both!). I volunteer at the Zoo and dote over anyone's pet(s).As you can tell from my profile - I love wolves and this fit me perfectly as at times I feel like I'm one lone voice looking for others of like mind, and somehow I manage to find them.I love live music and find that it's hard to find people my age willing to go to most concerts I attend. I love U2, Incubus, Audioslave, Nine Inch Nails, Rush, Collective Soul, but also will not miss Willie Nelson or Alison Krauss and Union Station. (Or Emmylou Harris, etc.!) My musical tastes are all over the map and I'm in a choral group in order to satisfy my need for classical music.I love traveling and have lived in Germany for 20 months many, many years ago. Got to visit Zaragoza and Barcelona in Spain, Paris, and Garmish-Partenkirchen and other German cities while there. Would love to return one day. My next goal is to one day visit Australia and New Zealand and of course would love to go on a safari, visit the mountain gorillas in Rwanda, and visit Belize. As you can tell - I love new places!I love visiting the N. Ga. mountains, fishing just about anywhere, and have a wonderful little fishing village in FL that I'll tell you about if I deem you worthy!I love most all cuisines that I've tried and will sample just about anything once. My fave foods for now are sushi, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Jamaican ... the list can get long!Also - just as a note - even though I'm plus size - I can in no way be considered lazy - most people my age would have a hard time keeping up with half my schedule! I refuse to grow up and take advantage of ushering at most major venues in town to feed my live music habit and spend at least a Saturday a month on my feet at the Zoo talking to people about our wonderful animals there.Last, but not least, I'm a second generation native Atlantan. Even though I don't live in the city now - I go there every day to work and would love to have my own place there - but also need the perfect cabin on a lake at the base of a mountain - that would be a little slice of heaven for me!I have to say that I am very lucky now - thanks to the internet that I cussed and discussed for 4 years I did wind up meeting someone who has totally swept me off my feet - there is hope out there for all of you that are still searching. Just search with an open heart and an open mind.
