I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Changing. Smelling the flowers and not pushing up daisies.

My Interests

blowing my horn, reading books that have nothing to do with school, writing in my journal when I wake up in the morning, taking a nice bike ride right after I've written in my journal and have finished drinking coffee, band practice, gardens, plants, delicious food, pierogies, making mix tapes for new friends, cuddling with old friends. I seem to really like it when people say "yep".

I'd like to meet:

several species of plants i have never encountered in the woods. A few folks my friends keep telling me about. But mostly, I just really enjoy meeting my pillow after a really long day.

Music:

Lot's of stuff. I really like live music. Mostly folk and brassy stuff. Oh, and I really like musicals.

Movies:

Latcho Drom, Swing, Black Cat White Cat,Underground, Existo!-still my favorite, True Stories, Drop Dead Fred, The Dark Crystal, Land and Freedom, Y Tu Mama Tambien, movies with good sweaty love scenes.

Television:

When snow is on the ground, television magically appears. I Love the Juice Man, except he's dead. Now I like to watch tv on dvd, especially Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Bring on the winter!

Books:

Tracks-Louise Erdrich Everything is Illuminated-Jonathan Foer June Jordan- I Was Looking at the Ceiling and then I Saw the Sky Too many to mention img src="http://www.lambiek.net/artists/dimassa/dimassa_hothead. jpg"

Heroes:

my friends, folks all over, myself (cause really, who's gonna save you?) and

My Blog

In a band

I've had this obsession with music all of my life, but I've NEVER been in a band until now. I guess there was a lot of insecurity and fear that I would never be able to perform very well. However, th...
