About Me

Hey what's up everybody. My Name is Jonas, yeah like that Weezer song. During the day I work as an IT guy and by night I DJ at various spots around Aspen and beyond. I'm looking to network with local DJ's and Producers, as well as DJ's from Melbourne, Australia. You can catch me at my resident gig at Phat Thai in Carbondale every Friday night from 10-2, usually spinning a mix of house and hip hop and beyond... or catch me at other special events around town. RMDJ's will be headlining this New Years Eve at the St. Regis Hotel in Aspen for Aspen Peak Magazine. The music scene in Aspen is as good as you can find anywhere! The local DJ's here are pretty sick too! When I'm not spinning, I like to go ride my dirtbike.Peace,DJ Jonas

My Interests

Dream job would be running my own studio, record label, and to DJ full time.When not working full time and soon (raising a family) I like to travel and try my luck at Surfing. My 20's brought me to some far stretches of the globe including most of Europe, AK, Yukon, the Carib, Coast to Coast in the good old USA, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and one of my favorites, Australia. Most recent trip was a solo jaunto down to a local favorite, Sayulita MX. It's a great little town full of people from Colorado and Canada, go figure.

Music:

Old school hip hop, some new stuff...it's getting better. Electro-house and everything in between. I like throwing down a 70-80's night one weekend and then switching it up to all hip hop, and then go Electro-Disco the next week. I like to keep the music fresh, new and fun. I've never been much for slow jams and have always been a beat conniseur or sorts. Best DJ collab to date: RMDJ'S vs DJ Suss One,--great DJ with more skills than Napoleon D!
