DJ, Promoter, Graphic Artist, Web Designer, Event Co-ordinator, Business Owner. Currently based in Cairns he has performed interstate and abroad, from the clubs of Melbourne to the shores of South Beach, Miami.
Introducing many of Australia's best known DJ's to the region as a promoter, Mark James, Nik Fish, Pee Wee Ferris, John Ferris, Groove Terminator, Jumping Jack & Sean Quinn all made the journey North for his events.
There are too many occasions to mention but sets alongside Ultrasonic, Dye-Witness (DJ Misjah) & Tony De Vit (RIP) are stand outs.
Baby Doc & SJ, Pete Wardman (Trade), Wayne G (Twisted), Dave Lea (Slinky), DJ Tom (Fog Area) & Da Hool (Meet Her at the Love Parade) all made the trip North for his events. He has been fortunate to share the stage with Claude Young (US), Sharky (UK), Phil K, Mark Dynamix, Scott Alert, Jason Midro, Roger Ramjet & Nick Skitz.
Germany 2002 he played in Hamburg at Phonodrome, Tonwerk, Astoria and the notorious Baluga Bar. It was an important experience taking him into the depths of all things Trance and Progressive. Winter Music Conference in Miami beckoned and he performed at the incredible Nikki Beach.
2003 saw Jah-Lion complete his training in Small Business Management in Melbourne. Music Industry (Technical Production) studies were completed in Cairns by 2005. DJ'z is his latest venture. His aim is to provide high quality entertainment continuing to set new standards in the industry.
As an ARIA DJ he developed a keen appreciation of various emerging styles and genres keeping in touch with the sound of now. His Progressive House/Electro/Trance artist project, Tek-Style can be found below and features a number of collaborative projects. These tracks are free to download below.
