I'm not together, but I'm getting there

About Me

I'm kind of a dork. I wish I could tell you that I was athletic or something; but I'm more spastic than Timmy Lupus from the Bad News Bears. I love to write. I work on stories and things like that. I got two poems published through a website. I won the editor's choice award from poetry.com in the month of May in 2002 and 2003. Of course, my mom thinks I'm going to be the next Maya Angelou because of that. My sister, Roseann, loves to torture me when I'm writing whatever story I'm writing. She always jokes that she'll wait for the movie to come out. She's not much of a reader. Then again, I'm not either. So, that makes two of us. Even though, I'm trying to read more books. I'm not really into anything. I love to watch movies and be lazy and do nothing; but that's no way to go through life or so I'm told.

I'd like to meet:

There are a lot of people that I'd love to meet and under normal circumstances I'd be too mortified to mention them. But I guess that I'm not too afraid to mention them to you guys. Please don't laugh and let me explain why. I'd love to meet Derek Jeter because I'm a real big fan of his and just want to see him once before it's too late. I always wanted to meet Bob Costas. I've had a crush on him since I was 9 years old, but that would be too creepy and weird to mention to him. Of course, I wouldn't have a clue as to what to say to him. It'd be too weird to say, "I loved you in Pootie Tang" He'd have to either run away or give me some form of weird look just for saying that. I guess just anyone famous for the sake of meeting someone famous. Of course, being of fan of theirs would help a lot; but you get the idea or at least I hope you do. Then again, most people don't have to be famous in order for you to meet them. I just want someone to like me for me(it's a tired cliche, but it's how I feel). I'm a sucker for compliments.
