About Me

Let's see.... I'm a married, working mom of one. I've just returned to work after a 2 year long hiatus due to the birth of my son. My profession is Special Education. I currently work with children with High Functioning Autism for a program called SECEP. I love what I do and I love being a mom. My husband is in the military. I'm proud of what he does, but am very much my own person.
In what little free time that I get, I like to travel, read, play Sims 2, blog with other moms, and just have fun. My obsessions include tigers, dolls, clocks, globes, sunflowers, Polish Pottery, World War II, hot Finnish men, and antique furniture.
My son has GERD and delayed gastric emptying. I'm interested in talking to other moms going through or who have also gone through this. It isn't fun, that's for sure.

Some favorites: Dr. Phil, Desperate Housewives, Iron Chef (Japanese version ONLY), General Hospital, Mind of Mencia, King of the Hill, The Showbiz show with David Spade, The Soup, South Park, and Six Feet Under. I also love the History channel, especially the World War II documentaries.
