Sir Mic Athletic is an emcee repping the South Coast.He started writin in 99,startin off as a poor american copy because he hadnt yet discovered uk hip hop.Then after a couple of years freestyling to mates,he got the chance to feature on a local emcees track(Jeopardy from DLS).He started recordin in '02 as a solo act,completed his first ep,passed a few round friends,then left the rest under his bed as he thought he wasnt yet ready for exposure.In '03 he formed a partership with two East London emcees,Rowdee B and Buzy Handler,which resulted in them performing the products in The Hackney Oceon on many occasions.After a years break from music he formed The Warlords in '04 with MVS,a Christchurch crew that gained a heavy rep in the local area,resulting in many gigs around town and pulling in big crowds of youngsters from S Estate,thier mutual home.Sadly Sir Mic and MVS went their seperate ways at the end of 05,but are now reformed and workin on a mixtape to be out summer 08.Along with recordin himself hes also promoted nights in the local area,showcasing talented local emcees,called The Urban Sets and now Sik 2 Def.Recent hook ups include sets at South Coast Statements,Southern Hustle,Mic Club,Sik 2 Def,a set for the 'kick out racism' event at The Littledown Centre and the track 'Livin Aint Right' bein played on Bournemouths Fire FM.Watch out for the Sir Mic mixtape 'Red Stripes,Fights and Freestyles' OUT NOW,gettin very healthy sales on road right about now,featurin emcees MVS,Schedules,Dreno,Cosm,Baxter,JSwift and Estee plus production from Bad Habitz,Schedules,Keyz,Cosm and DJ Lipsink and exclusive remixes and mix from DJ Smiffy.New for summer 08 is the ep with DJ Smiffy 'Cult Status' so stay locked for previews.
