Headchange (Still Needs A Vocalist)

Headchange is a hard rock band from Columbus, Ohio. Established in February of 2004, Headchange is comprised of: Chris Martin (guitar/vox), Josh Sharp (bass/vox), Josh Gwin (guitar), and Brett Counts (drums). In a world where rock music has become extremely diluted, the diverse influences of its members have allowed Headchange to put their own spin on the genre. Most often labeled as a hard rock outfit, Headchange uses elements native to metal, hardcore & progressive throughout their compositions. Their intricate blend of catchy melodies, infectious harmonies, and precise instrumentation, reflects the exemplary musicianship of each individual. The intensity of their stage presence is another reason why this band has remained a top draw in Columbus since their inception. Headchange has opened for a number of national bands, which has helped catapult their notoriety. They released their self-titled debut album in front of 400+ in April, 2007 at CBR’s in Columbus. A few weeks later, they opened for Bullet For My Valentine at The Newport in Columbus in front of 700+. As their stock continued to rise, they were asked to be a part of the notable Woodshock Festival in Bellefontaine, Ohio last August. Headchange has played extensively throughout Ohio and its neighboring states. They have been very well received at nearly every venue they have played. Once they find a new singer, they plan on going back to those cities that have been eagerly awaiting their return as well as expanding their fan base beyond the Midwest. Headchange have also shot music videos for the songs “A Murderous Affair”, “July’s Never Cold”, and “Tomorrow’s Dose Today”; as well as two live DVD’s from two Columbus shows last fall. Internet downloads and cd sales continue to climb due to the tremendous response they have received from their album. Their myspace page continues to flourish on a daily basis with constant increases in plays and friends. With consummate professionalism, immeasurable desire, unquestionable talent, and an unparalleled work ethic, Headchange can finally attempt to reach the goals that were once deemed unattainable.
