As many people will know, us Aberdeen residents are a meek lot. We don't really like to shout about our achievements.
I have been a dj for 9 years and have dj'd at Lifestyle, Kia Aura, Jungle Nation, Wax, Sister, Resist and many other Aberdeen based nights. I have also guested at nights in Glasgow, Edinburgh, St Andrews and London. I was the dj for an Aberdeen Breakdance crew and played at a few of the Scottish B Boy championships, including the very first. I am also the dj for a few local Mc's and have taught in dj workshops for 'the kids'
On top of this i have shared the stage with many acts as a support dj including Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Jazzy Jeff, Mad Professor, Q Bert, Rob Swift, Dj Format, Dj Vadim, Dj Woody, Dj Food, Fred Wesley, Clyde Stubblefield, Bernie Worrel, The Psychonauts, Courtney Pine, Cherrystones, Quantic, Gilles Peterson, Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, Switch, Norman Jay, Scratch Perverts, The Majesticons, The Stranglers, Crazy Penis, Nathan Haines, Modaji, Ugly Duckling, Dj Yoda, Cutmaster Swift, Fingathing, Mu, Uncle John and Whitelock, The Filthy Dukes, Uncle Buck and many more which i am will have to consult others to remember.
