Back in 2005 Steve Urban joined myspace to showcase the music he was producing and promote his live performances. These tracks combined the classic and psychedelic acid rock and roll guitar influences of Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and Trey Anastasio with hip-hop and electronic beats. It also incorporated DJ effects like loops and non-stop sets of remix after remix. Samples were taken from live and studio recordings of multiple song versions making one massive verison of the song never before heard! Sometimes the songs would lead into JAMS. These Jams included Original intrumentation, beats and epic guitar solos that could even go past the 20 minute mark!!! Steve played many shows in NYC, Philadelphia, and of course Long Island where he did a 2 set all PHISH show, to honor one of his favorite bands & biggest influences! He performed Billed as The Carnival Parade throughout all 2006. He daringly tackled a wide range of material from Original Compositions, to Americas 1 Hit Songs like MoneyMaker, and Jay-Z's Hardknock Life, unreleased Jim Jones track titled We Fly High, Bob Marley's Could You Be Loved and nods to Classic Rock bands like The Beatles, The Grateful Dead and Free, all in one show! It took place September 2006@169 BAR and formed legendary status as THE NASTY SHOW. It opened with IT'S NASTY Remix and concluded with Biggie/Jay-Z Tribute!!! A 30 minute encore of songs like Encore, I'll Be, Nasty Boy, Nasty Girl & MORE!!! ------------------------------------------------------------
