Pianist and songwriter, Paul Schofield clearly isn’t a believer that the piano is just for the pop ballad as can be seen in their energetic live shows in particular – look out for flying piano stools!!
The unique sound of Fingersmith strikes out with memorable melodies rising over monstrous grooves setting them aside from the average 3 chord 'wonders'. Potential single, Epiphany is evocative and inspiring; while for the more hardcore music fan, songs such as Sunshine Soldiers or Man will happily tear you off your seat.
The band have received great praise from their first two EP's "Empathy" (2005) and "Saving Face" (2006), and are looking to complete their debut album in 2007. The album will most certainly contain the franetic energy seen at the live shows and reminds you that the repeat button on your CD player is a friendly one!!
