My name is Erica Leah and I perform a self-invented, hair-raising and enticing aerial act called SkyHiGirl…combining strength, flexibility and precision to create an electrifying and high-energy visual effect for any club setting, concert, sporting or corporate event. Aerial contortion. The performance exhibits an uncommonness and fine mastery of high-flying contortion mixed with high speed rotation, performing stunts while suspended from any height on a free-spinning apparatus, without the use of a harness.
I am originally from Pickering, Ontario, Canada.
SkyHiGirl was a personal idea that came to life after I drilled a hole in my basement ceiling and began creating. My first SkyHiGirl performance took place only two weeks later, on January 1st, 2005 at Liquid Night Club located in small-town Whitby, Ontario. Now touring for my third year with Bud Light and MAXIM Magazine, I relocated to the U.S. last May to ease a now, very hectic schedule, and I grow even more enthusiastic by the day.
In addition to performing, I am CSAO and UOIT Certified in Rigging and Hoisting, and I provide all my own equipment, hardware, set-up and tear-down with each booking. Costumes are custom-made to suit any even theme, and sets can be performed with choreography to pre-arranged tracks, or freestyle alongside any genre of music spun by your house DJ or played by live band.
In addition to being an accomplished athlete, Erica Leah is also a accomplished Model and Spokesperson, being featured on-set in over 100 cities with Maxim & Bud Light’s Annual MAXIM EXPOSURE Tour, featured on over 90 Maxim DVD’s, five Bud Light television commercials, and a two-page spread inside MAXIM magazine. Other credits include her recent appearance as an aerialist in Cowboy Troy and John Rich’s new “Hick Chick†Music Video, Competing as a Finalist in the 2007 WWE Diva Search, touring nationally as a Spokesperson on the Playboy 50th Anniversary Tour, Spokesmodel for Xbox and Spike TV on their national GameRiot Tour, and live Bud Bowl concert and club performances, opening for acclaimed musical artists such as Snoop Dogg, Paul Oakenfold, Jimmy Buffet, Tiesto, 50 Cent, Andre 3000 and Pharrell Williams to name a few. Erica Leah has also had eight years experience as a live host, auctioneer and spokesperson at fundraiser and charity events across North America.
