J-Renegade

James aka J-Renegade has always been a natural at anything that involves music. At a very young age he played in Jazz band growing up in Eastern Oregon. In the late 90's he discovered his love for Electronica and has never looked back. In 2003 he bought his first pair of turntables and tought himself how to mix UK Hardhouse. But as his tastes in music matured, he began mixing many different styles of Electronica. In March of 2007 James formed his own production company called "Ground Breaking Events" and he continues to book talent and throw successful events here in Portland, Oregon.His intoxicating, signature blend of Bass Heavy Breaks, Dirty Electro-House, Glitchy Techno and Dnb has landed him bookings all over the NW at clubs, outdoor events, warehouse parties, online radio stations such as Afterhoursdjs.org, and most recently Seattle C-89.5 FM radio station "The Vortex." James has opened up and or played alongside industry heavyweights such as Rabbit in the moon, Tech Itch, Dave Aude, DJ Bam bam, SPL, DJ Fixx, Burufunk, Steve Baltes, Phil York, Kelly Reverb, Mike Balance, Myagi, Mars, Brian Zentz, Woody Mcbride and many, many more.
