Grammy Award winning Hammond organ-piano player, Billy is an original member and currently with the Amazing Rhythm Aces and also the Bama Band (The touring band for Bocephus). He played with legendary Hank Williams Jr for 21 years,and also live or recorded with B.B.King, Al Green, Eddie Hinton, Kid Rock, Waylon Jennings, Glenn Frey, Jimmy Buffett, Vince Gill, Gatemouth Brown, Merle Kilgore, Rufus Thoms, Memphis Slim, Tony Joe White. Muscle Shoals Rhythm section, Leslie West, Sammy Hagar, Reba McIntire, Excello Legends, Georgia Satellites, Travis Tritt, David Sanborn, Dickie Betts, Warren Haynes, Alan Jackson, Furry Lewis, Johnny Jones and many more.

1966-69 - garage bands The Disadvantage & Lump Got a Farfisa organ. Played school and church dances.
1970 - Bought a Hammond M-2 Organ & 147 Leslie - played college Frat parties with Sanction.
1971-72 - Sanction became Annabelle worked clubs, fraternities, and several house band gigs. Also graduated from Tullahoma High School.
bought a 1959 Hammond C-3 & another Leslie .Moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama area . House band gig at famous Johnnys Club 13.
1973 - moved to Knoxville, Tn. to play with Russell Smith. played clubs and recorded. (bands name was Beaucoup Dap.)
1974- Started the Rhythm Aces in Knoxville, Tn. w/ Russell, Jeff Davis,& Butch McDade. Moved to Memphis, Tn and began recording at Sam Phillips studios. Byrd Burton produced and played guitar. James Hooker keyboards joined band.
1975- band became The Amazing Rhythm Aces- Third Rate Romance was a top 10 hit. toured all over the country with Fleetwood Mac & others.
Also did The Midnight Special, and Don Kirshners Rock Concert TV shows.
Nominated for a Grammy award for best new artist. Released Stacked Deck LP on ABC records. The Amazing Rhythm Aces first LP.
1976 - Aces release Too Stuffed to Jump LP on ABC records. toured all over the country opening for Jimmy Buffett. Won Grammy award for The End is not in Sight (best country group). Played for president Jimmy Carter.
1977- Aces release Toucan Do it Too LP on ABC. Toured constantly all over the country, opening for Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and others.
1978- Aces release Burning The Ballroom Down LP on ABC records. Recorded in Nashville & Muscle Shoals. Toured and headlined clubs from coast to coast. Billys song Out of Control was included on this album, and B-side of single Burning the Ballroom Down.
1979- Aces release The Amazing Rhythm Aces or white album on ABC, then bought by MCA. Got new record deal with Columbia records with help from Irving Azoff, the Eagles manager. Toured constantly in theatres , clubs and arenas.
1980 - Aces release How the Hell do you spell Rhythm? on Warner Bros.
Also recorded live double LP Full House, Aces High on MSS label.
Appeared on Saturday Night Live, toured all over the USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand with Leon Russell. Bill Murray went along and played tambourine. The Aces opened for the Eagles on their sold out Long Run tour. son William Thaxton Earheart IV born.
1981- Aces temporarily stopped touring. Billy begins doing various recording sessions in Memphis, Tn. Played with Muscle Shoals legend Eddie Hinton. Begins working with Memphis Blues Revue featuring Don McMinn. Plays clubs and festivals all over Memphis. played with Rufus Thomas, Tony Joe White
1982 - Memphis Blues Revue release Heartbreak Hotel LP on Swiss label Exit records.A song Billy wrote called,"Four flat Blues" is included. back up Memphis Slim, and other Blues artist, and continue studio work. Also got to back up the great B.B. King at a club Jefferson Sqare in Memphis.
1983 - Memphis blues Revue release Rum Boogie Live LP. House band on Beale Street-(Rum Boogie Cafe). Tour with legendary soul/R&B singer Al Green.
1984 - Memphis Blues Revue shows all over Memphis and studio work.
Toured with Ace Cannon, legendary sax player, in Trinidad. Daughter Laura born 4-14-84. Al Green west coast tour playing Hammond and electric piano with Al Green, and other dates.
1985 - Memphis studio work. joined Hank Williams Jrs bama band. Toured all over the country. The Bama Band began doing live shows when Hank was off and not working.
1986 - Constant touring with Bocephus, Hank jr. did many TV shows, including Hee Haw, Ralph Emery, New Country, ACM & CMA award shows. videos with Hank jr. Did lots of demo recording in Nashville.
1987 - played on the platinum Hank Jr live record. More touring with Hank & band. Hank Jr. named entertainer of the year. did several TV shows including Nashville Now, Hank Jr. & friends special, and award shows.

1988 - played on the gold LP/ CD- Hank Jr. Wild Streak. Toured all over the country with Hank Jr. also backing Waylon Jennings, Georgia Satellites,
Kris Kristofferson, Bama Band gets new deal on Polygram, release Solid Ground LP/CD, with Legendary producer Bob Johnston(Bob Dylan,Johnny Cash,Willie Nelson) Also TV shows and recording sessions in Nashville.
In the video Young Country, named video of the year.(CMA).
1989 - Played on the Gold record America the way I see it, by Hank jr.
Hank won entertainer of the year for 3rd time. Played shows all over the country. TV appearances and recording sessions. Billy played on the Emmy award winning original Monday Night Football Theme for ABC TV.
1990 - Toured with Hank Jr across the USA, several Tv shows and Hank Jr videos. Did the Monday Night Football theme and intro video for ABC. The Bama Band gets new recording contract with Capitol Nashville, and release Takin off the Edge. Legendary producer Jimmy Bowen works with band on this project. Played on the Gold record Hank Williams jrs Greatest hits III. Monday night Football theme wins another Emmy.
1991-93 - Touring with Hank Williams Jr & the Bama Band all over USA. Backing up Kentucky Headhunters, Reba McIntire, Waylon, Sammy Hagar, while on tour with Hank Jr.
1994 - Tour Japan, Canada and USA with Hank Jr. played on Hank Jr. Box Set on Capricorn. Amazing Rhythm Aces release new CD Rides Again.
1995-97 - Touring all over USA with Hank Jr and the Bama Band.
Also touring with The Amazing Rhythm Aces, in Australia, New Zealand, and USA. Also live shows with Bama Band, who released the Copperhead CD on Genesis records, they record Billys song Out of Control.
1998- Hank Jr. does only one show, leaving lots of time for Aces & Bama Band live appearances. Amazing Rhythm Aces release new CD, Out of the Blue. Aces tour Europe and USA. Moved from the Nashville area to the northeast section of Mississippi.(30 minutes from Tupelo).
1999- Hank Williams Jr. tour in USA also Amazing Rhythm Aces tour Europe and Australia & NZ. Bama Band does shows across the south.

Tour Europe with Johnny Jones & Charles Walker. Recorded live CD at the Lucerne Blues fest in Switzerland for Crosscut records in Germany. Also other blues recording sessions/CDs for Richard Brown & Bleu Jackson on Taxim a German label.
2000- Hank Jr. USA tour, Amazing Rhythm Aces USA, European, and Australian tour, Bama Band shows, TV shows, recording sessions. Aces release Live in Switzerland CD. for German label. Also, Billy toured Europe with Roscoe Robinson. plus other recording sessions in Nashville.
2001- Hank Jr. dates including playing for President ,George W. Bush. Amazing Rhythm Aces tour Scandinavia and USA. Play on the CMT Television show Crossroads backing up and recording with Kid Rock & Hank Jr. Recording sessions with Big Al & the Heavyweights, Stan Webb,Johnny Wolfe, Davin James and others.
2002 - Hank Williams jr. USA tour dates, Amazing Rhythm Aces tour of USA, Scandinavia, Europe, Australia & New Zealand. Also Bama Band shows. played on Cds by James Nixon, Freddie Waters, Billy C. Farlow, Nick Nichols and others. back up Kid Rock on the ACM awards in LA.
2003- Hank Williams Jr. tour dates across USA. TV show live from the Grand Ole Opry, and others for CMT, with Hank Jr. Amazing Rhythm Aces USA tour dates including Alaska twice. Bama Band dates all over the south. recording sessions. Played on the new Charles Walker CD for Zane Records, Also Billy played on the new blues flavored Amazing Rhythm Aces CD, Nothing but the Blues, it included his song Thangamalang.2004 - Hank Williams jr tour with ZZ Top, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Montgomery Gentry and others.... Amazing Rhythm Aces dates, promoting the latest Cd, Nothing but the blues. More sessions in nashville and Mississippi.
The Bama Band new Cd, BEALE ST. BOOGIE released in October. Also Bama Band tours when Hank is off.
Studio work in Nashville, Twang Dynasty cd, Mooreville Ms with Joe Murray, Jose Daniels, James Simmons, and various gospel and blues sessions.. Also worked the casinos with Blues artist Don McMinn in Tunica Mississippi.
2005 More touring with Hank Williams Jr & the Bama Band, as well as The Amazing Rhythm Aces, The Decoys and Donnie Fritts. Sessions with Joe Murray, Brian Kennell, Jose Daniel, Mark Massey (w/ R.L Burnsides son Gary and grandson Cedric),Recorded new CD with Bobby Pierce and started working on solo project,"Mighty Greasy". Won 7 Texas Holdem no Limit online tournaments.
2006 Amazing Rhythm Aces sold out concert with Legendary Jerry Lee Lewis for Sam Phillips week in Florence, Al.

Artist appearing on the soundtrack include the Legendary Little Richard, Donnie Fritts, David Hood, Kelvin Holly, Mike Dillon,Russell Smith,kevin Mckendree, Jimmy Hall, Carla Russell, Wayne Bridge and Gary Nichols.. recorded a new Cd with New Zealand artist Bruce Greaves.Billy has won 1st place in 104 Poker tourneys on Pokerstars. December 1, 2006 celebrated 13 years sober.
2007- Recorded brand new CD in Muscle Shoals with the Amazing Rhythm Aces, "Midnight Communion".Includes 2 songs Russell wrote with Delbert McClinton and Gary Nicholson. The Bama Band concet in Norway Live DVD coming soon. Concert in France with The Nashville Blues Revue (Charles Walker, James Nixon ,Mary Ann Brandon)le Passage blues fest. just released new Cds from Johnny Jones "Can I get an Amen", Al Garner "Get out Blues", Roscoe Shelton "Save Me" , Earl Gaines, "Crankshaft Blues", all released on SPV/Blue produced by Fred James. recorded a duet record with fred James & Mary Ann Brandon. Finished up the Mark Massey blues project.
