BIOGRAPHY
Hailing from Randolph, New Jersey, the members of Anchors For Arms have spent the past four years defining their standard of how rock music should be played. Delivering a refreshing mix of rock, punk and hardcore to what has become an ever so increasingly stagnant scene, Anchors successfully blends explosive energy and melody accompanied with solid technical musicianship. After a three-song demo landed them in the hands of Santa Barbara, CA based label Lobster Records, the band signed in April of 2006 and quickly entered Trax East Studios with Eric Rachel (Every Time I Die, Atreyu, Snapcase) to record their debut LISTEN.REACT. 2007 was immediately embraced with a two month tour stretching across the entire United States. Fast forward another US tour, 3 midwest tours, and 3 east coast tours, to the final stretch of what the band considers “a good start†to a young, busy and promising career. Expect a relentless touring schedule, an International release of LISTEN.REACT in Japan and new material that will blow any of their previous efforts away.
