OORT RECORDS is an independent record label from Santa Barbara, CA. We release quality modern rock music featuring punk, pop and rock artists. The sound of OORT RECORDS is guided by the people who bring you LOBSTER RECORDS. Our label is a starter home for new bands, one that provides a secure entry point into the music business while allowing artists to concentrate on developing their craft. Our artists are regionally successful bands ready to take the next step onto the national stage. OORT RECORDS offers contracts on a project by project basis, moderate budget, one album deals that provide artists with the opportunity to create without being confined.
