Let us take you into the world of Dope Cut Productions, lead by CEO G-Heff; DCP is a new and upcoming label hungry for it all. Established during a time when the industry is flooded with an abundance of labels and rappers making it even harder for someone to stand out. We appreciate this flooding because it gives us the stride to make our product ever more superior. Its gives us that extra push to make our passion for music show with more ease. The new juggernaut of the industry, in the making, our goal is to give our fans nothing less then heated tracks and rappers that will burn the hairs off your head. So tighten up your tennis shoes and strap on your seat belt because Dope Cut will have you high so high. We hit you first with the solo project of G-Heff Love to Be Hated; Daly Citys own born and raised Mexican/Italian soldier. As a youngster growing up studying hip hop, G-Heff became intrigued with all forms of hip hop music and culture. With listening to MCs like Rakim, KRS-One and the great west coast group NWA, he knew that he wanted to venture into some form of hip hop. As the music grew so did G-Heff, taking his time and developing his skills until it was his time to shine. In the late 90s, G-Heff was featured on the Daly City underground classic compilation The Gateway from Deluxe Records. This CD showcased some of the most talented underrated rappers around. After a short hiatus, and a little work in the lab he has finally stepped up to the plate to bring you his solo. The album features some of the bays front runner MCs, like San Quinn and Big Rich of Done Deal Records and the Jacka of the Mob Figaz. Production is solid with a team of producers that is surely to make their mark in the industry in the years to come. Love to be Hated is an album that will get steady rotation in disc changers across the nation. G-Heff takes you on a ride of different emotions from tearing the club up to that bay lifestyle. With this album G-Heffs goal is to give his listeners quality music from start to end. He understands the disappointment of buying a CD that lacks quality and just collects dust on the shelf, so with his best knowledge he made every effort to make sure that disappointment is the only thing this album does lack.
On that note, get ready as Dope Cut Productions takes you to the beginning of a whole other era.
