From "ashy to classy" is how Ohio born, New York raised Playboy describes himself. This artist, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur and radio personality has been on the grind for more than ten years and still going strong. Playboy is the oldest of three children to a single military mother, and growing up a "Military Brat" gave Playboy a background of different cultures and music, helping to broaden his horizons and the way he viewed the world around him. Although he had never thought about pursuing this as a career, his passion for music and entertainment started early in his childhood after being introduced to a modeling/acting agent. Just like any other group or artist on the "road to riches", Playboy has been through his share of trials and tribulations. He got his musical start with a group in Baltimore, Md. known as "DCH". That experience was a contributing factor in the development of his trademark, smooth vocal style and word play, but they would later end up on different paths due to Playboy's sudden move to the West Coast. While living in Oakland, Ca. Playboy found up and coming Artist/Producer, J. Official of the Flo-Master's Camp. Playboy spent most of his time in Oakland working with "J" and the other artists on the label, promoting acts and helping with the everyday office work that it takes to run a music business. Before Flo-Masters would give him a shot at stardom he had to pay his dues and prove that he was worthy, so Playboy spent the next few years doing mix tapes like the grimiest series and also working with Los Angeles producer, G-flow, on the Triple X files. Playboy eagerly wanted his chance to shine on stage but he knew that patience, timing and honing his skill as an MC could make all the difference in his career. In 2005, after moving to San Antonio, TX. Playboy started X-clusive Entertainment, and at the time was not only the solo artist on the label but also wearing the hats of CEO, CFO, Publicist and Talent Agent. He soon met and developed a close friendship with Lancelott of B-Fam(Brother From Another Mother). Playboy and Lancelott have collaborated extensively and Playboy was even featured on the B-FAM mix tape. Currently the two co-host an Internet radio show called "The Hot Spot" which caters to unsigned and independent artist world wide. Says Playboy, "No matter whether it is writing a song, rapping, acting or producing, I have learned that it can get done, if you make it happen. I have been making music and doing this for too long to just give up".
