About Me

I am a 29 Year Old Male (getting old but i don't care...yet) living in Dagenham, East London/Essex, England. I have a long term girlfriend who i have been with since school. I live at home with my Mum and Dad, because i can't afford to move away...at least that's the excuse i'm using for the moment.
I try hard to be a good person, but i often feel despite my best efforts, i usually let myself down. As a result i'm constantly up and down, which usually makes me either hyper-active or depressed.
I work for Warrior Promotions MMA (UK) Limited, who specialise in Mixed Martial Arts and Combat Sports promotions. We run the fairly successful "Cage Warriors Fighting Championships" shows in the UK, which has received critical acclaim in the past and has seen many fighter progress onto bigger shows aboard. We also manage and represent fighters and have been able to get our fighters opportunity in BodogFIGHT, 2h2h, Pancrase and more. I think we do a good job and we work hard to promote MMA in the UK. To find out more go to www.cagewarriors.com
As a fan of MMA myself it is a dream job, but it can be pretty stressful at times. But it is also very rewarding and i have been lucky enough to have met some great people and have travelled around the UK following the scene both as a fan and through work. I've also been lucky enough to travel to Holland to go to "2 Hot 2 Handle" and Las Vegas to watch the Pride Fighting Championships. And i hope to venture out more in 2007.
I'm also a bit of a political junkie, i did Politics at University and spend most of the early 90's through to the present time boring people senseless at parties, bars and formal functions about Politics! I specialised in US politics and International Relations and still have a keen interest in US government today (Just in case anyone cares)
I also like to go out and have a "good time" clubbing and partying. I can normally be found in the party capital of Essex that is Romford. I'm really into Funky House at the minute and enjoy going down the Opium Lounge, Edwards and other places in Romford. But that's not to say i don't like going out elsewhere e.g. In London or somewhere else on my travels when i got the money.
As well as Funky House, i also like Old Skool Dance, Garage, and House when i'm clubbing. But i like most music in general and play various types at home depending on my mood(s)
I like chatting and meeting new people, even though i am pretty shy and quiet at times. But i'm also loyal, passionate and committed in what i do. I work hard to represent the industry i work in and the people who are involved in it. I've previously worked at the Citizen's Advice Bureau, in a department which dealt with young people (mainly homelessness) which was at times harrowing but also very rewarding, and i was gutted when i was forced to leave
That's about it for now...I hoped 2007 was going to be a much better year than 2005 and 2006, which both totally sucked, but it's looking like more of the same.
Favourite Quote - "Integrity is not a 90 percent thing, either you have it or you don't".
