My Interests

squeezing in my bio here...

DJ PONE: In his 15 years of DJing, DJ Pone has found himself spinning on the Wake Up Show, performing in front of tens of thousands while on the 2005 Vans Warped Tour, and battling at the DMC US finals. DJ Pone has expanded his efforts far beyond the DJ realm, scratching on tracks and touring with punk supergroup the Transplants, producing remixes for groups like Public Enemy, co-hosting a radio show with the legendary Billy Jam on radio station KALX, and teaching a new generation of DJs at the Norcal DJ & Music Production Academy - but he still finds time to spin with his original DJ crew, Canned Beats.

CURRENT RELEASES:
grab War: If It Feels Good Do It - now available at a record store near you or the Hip Hop Slam Shop . this came out in 2003. now everyone wants to be on that anti-war bandwagon when it's a little safer to do so. speak out, my friends, no matter what the time.

also grab the Give 'Em The Boot Volume 4 compilation to hear my scratch remix of "Romper Stomper" as well as other punk and ska songs from Lars Fredricksen, Rancid, Joe Strummer, and more. i'm not sure if punker kids are feeling it yet, but have an open mind, you fools.

if you don't like my music, fine. but allow me my creative experimentation, and don't go wishing i sounded like something else. maybe eventually i'll have something you like.
