About me:
So when I am not on the turntables, i'm still on the computer. I compose in Reason, edit in Acid and Audition, and process my guitars thru a Digitech RP200 into my mixer for recording.
My interest with music started as a child. My sister and I attended piano practice sessions twice a week (me at the age of 12 and my sister 10). We both stopped attending 3 years after, but still occasionally practiced. My sister is much better on piano than I.
She continued with her practicing while I moved on to other instruments. I picked up the guitar at age 15 never stopped practicing. My first guitar was a hand me down classical.
Then picked up a vintage 60's drumset and learned how to play drums around 17. It was an old wooden kit with a small kick drum. My 20 ride was about the size of the kick, but it was very punchy and loud.
Then moved on to turntables at 21. I wanted to learn how to mix before I wanted to learn how to scratch. I mixed progressive and breaks for about 3 years and then started practicing cutting. I devote much of my time cutting on the turntables, shredding on the guitars, and composing on my computer.
