NAUTICAL RETURNS!!!!!!!
Fine seafarers of Merseyside, the greatest Indie Club in the land is back for one last time in 2007 and its nothing like you've ever seen before......
Saturday 3rd November 2007
The Nautical Crew present
British Sea Power live aboard The Royal Daffodil Mersey Ferryboat.
Celebrate the release of the new EP from Brighton's finest aboard the worlds most famous ferry, whilst sailing upon the most significant river in musical history.
YARRRRGH! Ye heard me sailor, tis a gig on a boat!
The Royal Daffodil will dock at Liverpool pier head at 2200hrs and then embark on a three hour voyage of maritime mayhem up and down the glorious River Mersey, before returning to the pier head at 0100hrs. On board there will be two decks of live music (full line up coming soon), freaky visuals and Nautical DJ's lashing out their revered Oceanic Indie and Pirate Rock and Roll. There is a fully laden bar onboard and the top deck is available for smokers (or those of you who just want to feel the sea air through you hair). More information including details of the pre-voyage party will be coming as and when we have them, so keep a vigilant eye atop the crows nest.
Tickets are available online now!!! Just click the link below. A shit load have all ready sold before we'd even told anyone about this one so get on it now. You don't want to miss the boat on this one (Avast! I be disgusted in myself over that one).

NAUTICAL is an indie music night like no other and has graced venues such as New Brighton’s very own Napoleonic fort and the Royal Daffodil Mersey Ferryboat. She docks at these fair shores for a short time each summer, before once again sailing off into the Mersey sunset, leaving a trail of wonder and destruction in her wake. The good ship NAUTICAL is manned by a motley crew with 4 old Wallasians at the helm, keeping her on course throughout the year.
The summer of 2006 saw Nautical crowned NME club of the week and featured in The Guardian and The Times. Roll on 2007
Fort Perch Rock has stood on the banks of The River Mersey for over 150 years; a shining bastion of 19th Century Naval grandeur. In 1826 Captain James Kitson came up with plans to build a fort on a rocky outcrop known as the Perch Rock. And there it still stands today; a gleaming irreplaceable feature of the Mersey skyline.
