About Me

My passions are music and movies. I love to sing and play piano/keyboards. (I studied classical piano for 12 years.) I play in an all-girl rock band called Absinthe! We have several upcoming shows in June and July in the L.A. area. (see my top friends below for the link to the Absinthe page with performance dates/locations) In addition to working full-time as a freelance bookkeeper, I also enjoy acting and just signed with a new theatrical and commercial agent. The upcoming feature film (dark comedy) "American Cowslip", which I co-produced, starring the incredibly talented Ronnie Blevins, along with big names including Val Kilmer, Rip Torn, Diane Ladd, Hanna Hall, Bruce Dern, Cloris Leachman, Lin Shaye, and Priscilla Barnes, is in post-production and I will post details on its 2008 release as soon as they are available.

My Interests

Piano/keyboards, singing, acting, film production, tennis, softball, traveling, reading, and solving Sudoku puzzles! (or trying to!)

I'd like to meet:

Cool, intelligent people with a sense of humor in the Los Angeles area and elsewhere.

Favorite comedies: Airplane, Caddyshack, Arthur, Fletch, Stripes, Beverly Hills Cop, Ghostbusters, The Naked Gun, Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, Groundhog Day, Borat. Favorite non-comedies: Titanic, Gladiator, The Shawshank Redemption, Memento, The Illusionist, The Departed.

Television:

The Office, Scrubs, Lost, House MD, American Idol (the only reality show I watch), The Daily Show, The Simpsons, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage.

Books:

Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Harlan Coben, Dan Brown and lots of non-fiction, too.

Heroes:

Anyone who follows their dreams and doesn't give up! (even if it involves keeping a day job that you hate!) :-)

I joined a band! ABSINTHE! L.A. shows coming soon!

I am pleased to announce that I have joined a great all-girl L.A. band called ABSINTHE. (see my top friends) I'll be playing keyboards and doing an occasional backup vocal. :-) I'm enjoying it so much...

"Crossing Jordan"
