My Interests

Fighting, hitting, framing passive aggressive notes, staring at myself in Photo Booth, Macbooks, auditioning, order, improvisation, writing, making crosses out of palm fronds, gossiping, quinoa, reducing debt, saving money, Coney Island, chicken, yawning, acting the foo', bandages, sleeping, exasperating my friends with my cursory knowledge of musical theater, having a cursory knowledge of musical theater, creating fictional stories about current Broadway stars, updating myspace, checking myspace, checking e-mail

I'd like to meet:

Actors, performers and comic book people. Certainly not spam.

and of course Carol Channing

AND Shirley Bassey

Music:

Meatloaf, Gogol Bordello, Jessica Simpson, anyone who plays a pan flute and doesn't do a cover of a well-known song, Pixies, Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, Mazzy Star, Muse, Kelly Clarkson, LCD Soundsystem, musicals - but the right kind of musicals like Billy Elliott - aw fuck, that song, The Letter, "and I'll have missed your shoutin'" - fuck, I'm getting all misty!

Movies:

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Once, Picnic Songs, Blades of Glory, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Braveheart, Elizabeth, To Kill a Mockingbird, Requiem for a Dream, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Excalibur, Midnight Cowboy, Serial Mom, Grease 2, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Jawbreaker

Television:

Sledge Hammer!, Xena, Lost, Ugly Betty, all the Law and Orders, American Idol, Freaks and Geeks, The Kids in the Hall, Little Britain, Full House, and maybe someday, Heroes. Roseanne, Wishbone, The Office (the British one and the American one; they are both good), South Park

Books:

Anything by Truman Capote or Neil Gaiman. Let's see, who else do I read consistently. Uhm....
The Handmaid's Tale, Lolita, Middlesex, The Kite Runner, The Alchemist, I guess things by Shakespeare aren't books, but it's better than just saying comic books. Books about theoretical physics. Boy, I can't wait for new friends to search on myspace for people who like theoretical physics! I'm going to wait right here.

Now theoretical physics I DO know. Sort of.

Heroes:

Superman, Batman, Spider-Man - they are all heroes. Haha!

16th of September

I completely forgot about the 16th of September.  Mexican independence day!--sort of.  On this day, a rag tag team of Mexicans led by a priest, a Mexican captain and... some other guys ...
