8 Ugly

2008 will be the year when 8 Ugly finally release their debut album tentatively called "Sleeper". This will be preceeded by the release of their next single "Call Me", a cover version from Maltese outfit the Refugees.The album will also include the single "Find" for which 8 Ugly had been nominated as best newcomer at the Bay Music Awards in 2005.Boris Cezek (of the New Harmonics) is responsible for 8 Ugly's arrangements and production, and a number of other musicians including Charles Busuttil (of Muzzle), Colin Zammit, now on the West End musical theatre scene (www.myspace.com/colinzammit), Ronnie Busuttil (of the Refugees) and Gianni (of Rug) also contribute to their work.Other contributors: Cliff Smith (of Bitterside), Kevin Vella, Eric Wadge (of several bands).
