Freewill is the Universal Principle of unobstructed movement and existence for all living things. The basis of this is that all living things have the right to pursue life and happiness in whatever manner is best suited for them, so long as this does not violate the rights or sever the boundaries of others to make free and healthy choices. The foundation of freewill is Maat or Mauwt, the Universal Law of Causes and their Effects. Maat's Laws state that everything in existence behaves in a balance that is vitally interconnected and interdependent, and that this Balance, when It is kept, can manifest as incredible harmony and happiness, and thereby reduce the level of suffering. Where there is suffering, there has been a violation of the Balance of Maat, where one condition has taken advantage of another, or one principle is out of keeping with the rest. The vast majority of our suffering comes from within our selves, from a polluted view or non-understanding of the Laws of Causes and Effects. That is where our precise understanding and execution of our freewill is of most significance. The wise usage of freewill is known to us as ankh am Maat, living according to Truth, the complete Unity or Symbiosis between all principles. The corruption of freewill is known as asfat, the veil of suffering and illusion that prevents true knowledge of the wise and healthy path.
