My name is Kels. I live in Jacksonville, Florida. My family history lies in Ireland. And as much as I would like to say I was born there, I was actually born in the cesspool more commonly known as Panama City Fl. From there moved to New Orleans and because my dad liked to have a social life it was on to Sitka Alaska and then Kodiak Alaska. Then at the tender age of 7, was ripped once more from my home and dragged back to Florida where I've been since. Don't get me wrong, I've been tempted to move away several times since I've come of age. But there are a few things that hold me here. My family. My friends. Ok... Two things. I'll take to the grave the fact that I believe that I was born 10 years to early. I was raised an 80's kid, but I'm a true product of the 90's. Don't get me wrong, I love the 80's. I love many things 80's. But if I were to chose a decade to call my stomping grounds, it would be the 90's. I discovered so many things. Real friends. Real music. Real life. Real drama. Real trouble. And real drugs. Two out of 6 of those things are, for the most part, in my past and will stay there. It's up to you to take a look at my life and decide for yourself which of those 6 are the ones I speak of. But if you are here to judge me on anything, walk the other way. I digress. I am a multi leveled artist but writing and photography are my spoken words and my friends and the life they live around me my muse. I believe in love. I believe in the earth. I believe in the dark. I believe that the boogy man exists inside of everyone of us. I believe in romance. I'm an open book to my friends... Those who know me... Movies:

For as long as I can remember my favorite movie was Silkwood. (1983) If you've never heard of it, you probably wont. But I dare you to watch it. You might like it... But when Donnie Darko (2001) came out... I was enamored by it. I still love Silkwood... However. :) My favorite genera is horror. Specifically... Zombies... Not to be confused with our government... I love all kinds of movies. But there are a few genres that I don't like. Government... A few... Most are ass. My opinion. Romance... :P Not to be confused with chick flicks. There is a difference. I love musicals, thrillers, suspense, mind fuck... As long as it keeps my interest, I like it.

Television:

Smallville, Dexter, Dead like me, Heroes, Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk, The L Word, Bionic Woman, Moonlight, CSI Miami... Adult Swim... I love Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken (YAY!)... I'm slowly getting back into Anime... It's taken long enough. I used to date this person who wore it out for me. For those of you who remember this person... I'm sorry they exsist. For those who don't... Be glad you never met them.

Books:

I love to read... But I fall asleep at night to audio books. I love Anne Rice, John Saul, Clive Barker, Voltaire, Wes Craven and true crime.A few of my favorite magazines are... propaganda magazine, fangoria, Rue Morgue and Femme Fetal.My favorite poet is Robert FrostMy favorite literalist is Walt WhitmanMy favorite horror Author is John SaulMy favorite visual literalist is Clive Barker.I also have a thing for True Crime and Serial Killers.And before anyone says anything. Yes. I like Harry Potter. I am a Harry Potter whore. My level of love for Harry Potter, if I were to go from 1 to 10, 10 being worship, I would be a very strong 10. Heroes:

This one isn't as simple as one would think. My heroes growing up were Princess Diana and Martin Luther King Jr. There are, however, many people I would call hero for various different reasons. I've got friends who are heroes to me. There are people from this worlds past I could label a hero. There are people I've never met nor will I ever meet who are heroes. Having one hero is to closed minded. I have several.
