The philosophical physics of love suggests that a harmony is achieved when two vibrating somethings come into a balance of frequency thus explaining the sense of intimate personal loss when one is diminished by loss as well as the often expressed fear of losing oneself to a relationship. Remarkably this leads to debates of Schrodinger's Cat and the basic understandings of Gematria. I would suggest that since ever there was knowledge of individuality that even in union there are still two things in harmony...
The larger group comparison would be 'mass hysteria'...events occurring during a mob experience may change the individual in hindsight but the actual experience did not however the harmonious willingness to participate in acts not normally chosen is similar to the harmony of love. My argument is based on the discovery at the Harvard Medical Center that brain structure is physically changed by life experience where society has long believed it to be the other way around. Thus the notion 'fake it til you make it' has a totally new meaning...and arranged marriages may lead to actual love.
In other words...Choice is Everything.
