My life has been devoted to dance music. I went to music consevatory for composition and I have been Djing since I was 14 and DJing in clubs since I was 18. I started Satellite with Jonathan when I was 22, first by throwing parties (Sputnik, Voyager, etc) and then opening dance music record stores in New York, Atlanta, Boston and the web.
I personally think that dance music is the most original alive music being created today. Its the only genre where there are 200 new titles a week and anyone with a passion has a true opportunity to get their record out and be heard. Thus, my life has been all about that.
I also love helping people get to their goals.I appreciate all I've learned from creating and being in the business and I like sharing that with others.
A Zen poet once said "A person who is a master in the art of living makes little distiction between their work and their play, their labor and their leisure, their mind and their body, their education and their recreation, their love and their religion. They hardly know which is which and simply pursue their vision of excellence and grace whatever they do, leaving others to decide whether they are working or playing. To them they are always doing both."I'd say that is the life I strive to lead.
