Nicholas Maddix aka Nickmatic has been spinning deep and funky house music since 1998, finally exploding into the Boston scene after co-founding the DeepBoston collective.
Soaking up the talent of the underground house scene in Boston and years of residencies around the Boston area inspired Nickmatic to refine his ability to recognize the most cutting-edge tracks for inclusion in his charts. Now Nickmatic is regularly laying down seamless and building sets of Jackin and Electro house, as well as Deep house, his true love.
Now based in NYC, Nickmatic is bringing his love of house music to clubs in the big city and abroad in Europe and Asia as well as south of the border.

My Perpetual Personal Ad:
Everyone's parents love me. When not leaping tall buildings or putting the cap back on the toothpaste, I'm busy saving cute baby seals from certain oil-slicked doom. Other profound pastimes in which I passionately partake include the perfunctory practice of alliteration as well as the composition of chamber music in the key of F-flat minor. Every odd Thursday I build a new 6-bedroom duplex for a homeless family and then run over to the community college where I teach Introduction to Knitting, Crocheting, and Security Trading on Foreign Exchanges for ages 5 and up. Often, you'll find me at a busy intersection helping a little old lady to cross the street, or in the lecture halls of the Math Department at MIT trying to relate Pi to Avagadro's number by the golden ratio. I relax by creating working home appliances using my skills in origami. Plus I can usually match my socks without my Mom's help now.
