Hi, we're Third Conduct. We're Hannah (20, guitar and vocals), Kate (17, drums and vocals) and Sarah (17, bass and lead vocals). We've been together since Decemeber 2003 and have been playing gigs for 3 years, including charity concerts for Amnesty International, the children's cancer charity, Candlelighters, and the upcoming charity tribute festival for Paul Hunter. We have also played gigs at bars such as Certificate 18, Fibbers and Joseph's Well in Leeds and have been hired for a number of private parties. After learning to play a wide range of covers from Green Day to Muse, we have recently written a lot of our own material and are in the middle of getting it all recorded.
Recent acheivements include winning
"Best Original Song" at
Best of the Bands 2005 in the Grand Opera House with our first original song
"Falling Without Fear" (pictured in the pics section of our myspace) and also winning our school's alternative music award. We recently took part in Fibber's Battle of the Bands and, upon reaching the semi finals, it was said that we were
"the most musical band in the competition".
We are continuing to gig around York, supporting acts such as singer/songwriter
Amanda Ghost (as featured on
Friday Night with Jonathan Ross) and upcoming bands such as
The Wombats and
Switches. We continue to write our own songs and are branching out to perform around the UK, hoping to see you at a gig in the future :D
"Their simple but catchy songs reminded me of Greenday and it was obvious that the knack for writing an infectious pop song is something that comes naturally to them...well written and well played songs."
Ben Molzahn - Corruption Cert 18th October
"At first glance, they looked like the sort of girls you could take home to meet your parents, but soon proved they knew how to rock like demons."
Mark Layton, The Press - Fibbers 26th February
"The always impressive Third Conduct provided a change of pace, demonstrating their much clearer and harmonious vocals." The Press
