About Me

I'm never happy with anything I have, the grass is always greener on the other side... I have a highly active imagination and I always imagine things before they happen - this often ends in dissapointment because in my head people and things are always a lot better than in real life. I'm the most competitive person I know and I've learned its not a very attractive trait, all though it does make me achieve things which I suppose is the flip side. I would cheat to win and I would steal if I felt it wouldn't harm anyone. I think maybe that means I am a bad person, or at least I have no morals. Im a bit psychic sometimes - I always dream the winner of the Grand National every year, and generally Im very lucky - I always seem to win raffles, and lottery money and things like that. I'm a bad drunk, I like drinking but I cant quite get my timing right. I tend to drink as quickly as I can, to get as drunk as I can, and end up as ill as I possibly can be. But I always fall asleep before I do anything too mortifying. I like the mornings more than the nights. I like beaches and I love the sea. One day I would like to own a boat, live in a little white cottage and grow my own vegetables. Im writing a book, my Mum says I never finish things, one day I'd like to prove her wrong by finishing it.

My Interests

I like buildings. I like old derelict buildings, particularly schools and hospitals. I think maybe that makes me a little bit strange. I dont really like people very much.

I'd like to meet:

Ryan Adams. Ryan not Bryan. And Ryan Gosling (I think I might have a thing for Ryans!)

Music:

It's kind of my job, so I'm a bit jaded and boring but I don't mind a bit of PJ and Duncan, Jimmy Nail, Lindisfarne, Gazza (Fog on the Tyne) Ryan Adams, The Arcade Fire, The Frames, Ron Sexsmith, The Proclaimers, Death Cab, Cherryfalls, The New York Fund, Bright Eyes, The Bangles, Mylo, Bell X1, Ben Folds, Brendan Benson, Idlewild, The Killers, Mister Mister, Rilo Kiley, Sigur Ros, Stevie Wonder, Belle and Sebastian, The Fratellis, Postal service ...oh and Girls Aloud but I probably shouldn't admit that!

Movies:

Life is Beautiful. The best film of all time. I dont understand how it can make you so so happy and so so sad all at the same time! And The Notebook, because in my head thats what life should be like for everyone.

Television:

It stops you doing the things you should be doing...but...and its a big but...Prison Break and Grey's Anatomy and a little bit of Lost.

Books:

The House by the Dvina by Euginie Fraser and Highland Light by Gus Wylie

Heroes:

MacMillan nurses, and scientists.
