www.nadinerisha.com - As though the Earth herself were singing Nadine intricately weaves a liquid-velvet tapestry of lyrics, melodies, and moods... which communicate a knowing and insight belying her youth. But more than just her unforgivably powerful vocals and an empathic songwriting prowess that grabs you by the heart and soul, Nadine emanates an aural magic, quite simply, like no one has ever known.
Nadine travels the world, exploring the far reaches of the planet, singing with every step in such extraordinary places such as Egypt, Lebanon, India and Peru.
Performing since the age of seven, Nadine has been exposed to a variety of forms of artistic expression. After years of study and attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree at UC Irvine, she moved to New York where she performed in and did the cast recording for Stephen Schwartz’s Off-Broadway show "Children of Eden" (RCA). She later performed at The Kennedy Center with artistic director Placido Domingo, in a production of “Paquito’s Christmas”. After returning to her home in California, Nadine became the lead vocalist in the Los Angeles based band Sketches of Ellis, with whom she released an original CD, produced by Sally Browder (Dwight Yoakam), and featuring guitarist Randy Jacobs (Iggy Pop, Elton John). She is now playing in Los Angeles clubs with her band Breathing Room. www.breathingroomtheband.com
These days, she can regularly been seen-heard-and felt performing the chant, Sacred Stones, from her CD Daylight at venues nationwide, including Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA. Her 5 song CD, Daylight and her newly released Modern Sacred Music CD, Walking Up, are available for purchase on this website & itunes.com.

Along with continuous recording and performing projects in Los Angeles and abroad, Nadine is thrilled to be a part of the creative process of Eye of Newt Circus. Nadine writes and performs her original material live in remarkable ways (she sings on stilts!) as these amazing circus artists contort, swing and fly through the air. She also shot her first music video for her song “From Egypt to Omaha” with Eye of Newt Circus and cinematographer Rolf Kesterman (Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Issak’s “Wicked Game”). With this amazing company, Nadine has opened for the likes of Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakam & Vonda Shepard.
Nadine also has a dance single, Devious Routes, released on Swank Recordings with Rye and Sol Selegna, a dynamic producing team. Check out the original song and a remix by Kiko Navarro on itunes.com
With her musical passion constantly evolving, she has created her own captivating, original music and is currently in the midst of recording her debut full length album, "In the Light of Day".
