Influences: General influences include great music and great souls whose paths I have crossed. Being that we are the sum total of all our experiences, good and bad, I integrate what resonates with me from the most inspiring composers, performers and artists of the ages and incorporate it as the spirit wills. These include: music from the Renaissance (like the recorder quartet Intro to "Circle Of Love" on my album DREAM WORLD ), the Western Classical masters, Indian and World music, the Beatles, Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jean Luc Ponty, and many many more. Perhaps what creates the greatest influence on any of us is our life view; what we value and what our vision and perception of the universe is. This can determine what filters through our minds into our self expression. The whole tone and vibration of our being, the thoughts and emotions, is what we truly express in our music and life - (which can differ from our spoken philosophy). --- The greatest single influence in my life comes from the metaphysical and even the mystical, and has been facilitated through the practice of Kriya Yoga for the development of Self Realization.
Sounds Like: For those who like what I do, I would like to offer my services and skills in any or all of the areas of COMPOSING, ARRANGING (strings or any other configuration), and PERFORMING. I am interested in writing for accomplished artists and playing with like-minded ensembles or bands.----------------------------------------------Any contacts or referrals are appreciated and will be considered. In the Digital Age, we all have the possibility of working and playing together!
