Hello,I'm Gary T. from the Windy C.and welcome to my site.I'm one of the many DJs on the University of Chicago's radio station,WHPK in Chicago.Once a month, I host a 3 hour show called "The Dusties Party." Dusties is a term Chicagoens use referring to soul music. If it was recorded 30 years or older,it's a dusty. The music you'll hear on "The Dusties Party" covers a wide range of music from the 60s to the early/mid 80s. Basically,you're hear music and artists that mainstream commercial radio refuses to play.(In other words,not the same old tired played out songs you'll hear over and over again)
From Soul,Jazz,Blues,Funk,Rock,Reggae,Comedy,pre and post Disco,House music,etc;,you'll hear it on "The Dusties Party",every Thursday from 9PM - Midnight on WHPK 88.5 FM in Chicago.
