GUITARIST NEEDED!
MESSAGE US FOR DETAILS! Honor Your Hero has been notorious for having the worst luck out of any band around. Starting off as a part-time project, the band has run into countless problems beyond their control, regarding issues such as equipment, practice space, recording, shows, and other numerous mishaps that seemed to push back the band two steps for every step they took. Yet with such odds pressing against them, the band has never given up hope and the dream of becoming an established band.
Starting off fresh in January of 2006, and only beginning to play shows since mid-June of the same year, the band has already opened for modern day greats including:
Matchbook Romance (Epitaph Records)
Drop Dead Gorgeous (Rise Records)
Near Miss (Takeover Records)
Punchline (Fueled By Ramen Records)
Boys Night Out (Ferret Records)
the Human Abstract (Hopeless Records)
Bayside (Victory Records)
The Number Twelve Looks Like You (Eyeball Records)
Valiant Thorr (Volcom Entertainment)
and more.
Getting sick of being “just another local band,” Honor Your Hero has since decided to sit down and sort out every aspect of their music, with the hopes of coming back into the picture better than ever.
In a time where being unique and different is the new “scene,” what style could possibly be left to allow a band to stand out from the rest? Honor Your Hero answers simply with one word; heart. The band writes their blend of heartfelt lyrics, powerful choruses, and brutal breakdowns out of pure honesty and a love for the game. With everything going against them, there has never been a show played where they didn’t laugh off anything that ever went wrong, and spent their moments on stage having the time of their lives.
Honor Your Hero could only describe themselves in one way...four of the best of friends who know nothing more about life other than having fun, rocking out to their fullest potential every time the lights go down, and giving the crowd the performance in which they deserve.
