The consolidation of frostbitten lads started back in 1996. The line up consisted of closest friends. Since then, the line-up has gone back and forth with bass players, (clean & growl) singers and guitarists. Not to mention drummers. This seems to be the hardest organ to maintain. Reasons for changes are universal, life situation changes e.g. business carrier, other projects, girl friends, alcohol... You name it and we probably have bleed it thru as you'll soon notice...For example after the "Baroquean Menuets For Oesophagus", future was looking auspicious. Reviews were even better than expected (Demo of the month in Finnish webzine), this EP had national on-air time also (as did the previous "Risteysrock" and "Suprapubic Pain") and interesting gigs were played in Finland as abroad. A stab in the back was to come. This is where the very first drummer quitted. He came to the conclusion that he'll change his musical style into more peaceful after a great black/death-metal festival gig 3/8/2000.A new drummer was eventually found in 8/2002. Rehearsing after total frustation could continue. During two silent years of the band we lost our long time bass player, but a new one was affiliated. Hard luck follows constantly as you might notice below...The physical zenith of our mental work was finally been spawn at 14-17/11/03 and it was titled "Sublime Metrics Reallocation". The whole EP was about revealing authentic pictures, lyrics and own thoughts within maverick music. Things were great.Next clearing, blurring zenith - the debut CD! - was released by label on 25/01/05 and it was titled "Calliphora Vomitoria Introitus". We were gently ripped off by record companies one by one, but the CD was still published and available, at least in US. All the corpse photos we used really was real! That didn't pass the censorship in Germany and the CD was banned over there... In Finland this was never available due label bankruptcy! After dispiriting action of labels, (in the late 2005) started hardest band member peeling times... But, from ashes the stench of sweat was achieved back to rehearsal dungeon. Old "play mate" from Death Du Jour -days, hooked up for battering the rhythm section and the brutal jam continued. Recording sessions for 4 song promo ie. “rehearsal tape†stuff were 6/6/06 and 19/6/06. That was recorded in one day as a duo. This sample of new material helped to get Eero and Juuso, to form current cohort. The second CD - "Oubliette Ontology" - was recorded 5/07 and right after recordings, our drummer Tuukka announced he..ll move to Sweden! The record was ready but the state of the band was again fragile... Again, we fortunately found a great drummer by drinking one weekend with Hatsa and began to rehearse like apes the whole summer. And when we were finally ready to perform gigs... Yeah.. After one gig he got vacancy in Spain... What could cheer the situation like this would be something like - a sane record deal! We signed with Violent Journey Records and the bastard of current Pyuria is out 21.11.07 (in Finland)! Seems like this time we have nailed it! Currently Tuukka is giving a helping hand and we are able to tour with him this winter and finally continue playing with Hatsa when he'll move back to Finland.
