Peter Zuniga (Pete Pan) started to produce under the moniker of Papa Legba in 2003. His first release Namek Coastline was on his own label Lobogistic lab's freshman release Gnostic Traveller. The Papa Legba project is meant to display the more serene side of ambient and downtempo. Of late with influences such as Rena Jones and Yasume, Papa Legba has turned to a more abstract sound with hints of idm over a more somber soundscape. With a release on the upcoming Celestial Dragon compilation, Intermittent Memories, Pete's project has taken the pilots seat and tracks have begun to formulate for an upcoming artist album. As a dj Pete Pan tries to incorporate many different styles to tell a story from beginning to end, a story that transports the listener to deep outerspace and then guides them back through the solar system to the blue ball we call earth. Now into the full groove of his intergalactic disco lounge and with his focus back on music and out of total space immersion one can expect to hear more deep space alien transmissions from Papa Legba.
