CRUEL COUNTRY

Cruel Country is basically two brothers with a passion and talent for music. Members have come and gone but Jake and Darcy still remain. Great versatility and sibling harmonies are what makes this band special. Cruel Country is working at putting out an album of originals and covers in the near future. We use alot of mercenary guitarists so it's hard to actually get stuff done. Darcy and Jake started Cruel Country in the mid 80's in the beautiful land of Northern Saskatchewan Canada, Green Lake to be exact. We've played all over the north and we relocated to Regina in the early 90's. Our music is greatly influenced by the classic greats of country music and when it's time to rock, WE ROCK! What sets Cruel Country aside from other bands is our versatility, we can jump musical genres like nobody else (thanx to late 80's country/rock greats like the Kentucky Headhunters). We've been on and off musicians for the past twenty years but C.C is starting to get noticed. Some of our greatest influences are on our friends list. Thanks for stopping by and tell your friends.
