I am not a pessimist. I am a realist with Nihilistic tendencies. I'm not a mean person, but I'm not particularly nice either. I don't work to maintain acquaintances with people that don't reciprocate the effort just so I can say I have friends. I don't believe in gods, but in concepts and ideas that were here long before gods and that will be here long after gods have gone. I think people should read more. That being said, I think I should read more. If you insist, I can read your cards and I can read your palms. However, the interpretations you take from what I might tell you are ultimately your responsibility. I believe everything is open to interpretation. I think karma is just another part of us a little further along in the Universe, slapping our present faces for some of the shit we see ourselves pull. Most people will hear what they want to hear. That being said, I won't hear most of what people have to say. I think Chaos is a powerful thing that should be respected, feared, and utilized. Every technological advance we achieve to make our lives easier actually dumbs us down. Humanity peaked thousands of years ago. I think we have no idea what we're doing. I believe we're spiraling towards a self implosion that will eventually ignite a wave of revolution. Sometimes we should care what other people think of us; memory is the only real immortality human beings have. Having said that, your immortality lies at the mercy of everyone else around you. So think before you speak, and especially before you act. It amuses me to think that someone, somewhere on the planet, has figured out the exact meaning of life and why we're here....but (1).has no inkling that they know, (2).thinks they have a splendid theory but mistakenly believes they're way off base,(3). is well aware that they know and is scared shitless by what they know, or (4). is thoroughly disappointed by what they know, which could very well just lead us right back to number (3).
