I'd like to meet:
The time is now people. We have sat back, watched, waited and listened for far too damn long. The way that I see it, you have one of the following two options to pick from. You may continue to keep on doing {or not doing for that matter} the above. As an individual, you have the inate ability to make concious decisions everyday, all the time. Minimalistic decisions to ones on a greater scale; such as whether or not you are willing to fall into the mainstreams of our corporate, brainwashed civilization. If you are, righton. All is fine and dandi so long as you are able to get to sleep at nite and are above all else willing to accept the reprocussions for doing so. You should also not get angry or upset at others for dispensing their opinions as well as their pity unto you. You have put yourself into whatever position you are in, for whatever reasons. We each have a responsibility that we owe ourselves, eachother and the planet that we share. So if we choose to not take that route, then what exactly would be our other option? Unification. Do not get discouraged that each time you turn on the news there seems to be a lack of motivated people willing to make a change. Let it outrage you. Be the first one to get up, stand up and stand up for your fucking rights. A recent poll stated that 70% of individuals were willing to change their lives in some way. Now, granted statistics will be statistics I truly believe that a genuine percentage of those people are out there. How many say that they are ready to make a difference and how many actually mean it? We may never know for sure. But there is only one way to find out. One of the simplest things that we can do is offer the extension of our hand to those who need a little bit of extra motivation. Educate and empower yourself to make a difference and encourage those around you to do the same. Once again, the time is not tomorrow, next week or 'later on' ..it is now. What I would like to do at this point is offer MY hand to you. If you are ready and willing to recruit yourself to battle lets see if we can win this war, together. I'm more than inclined to meet you..
Heroes:
Every artist / musician surrounding us with their talents and contributions which we so often take for granted. Every athlete *not* afraid to tear it up. People who stand up for what they believe in. Those who put others before themselves. Anyone who works for a cause, no matter their reason behind doing so. Animal rights organizations that strive to change the way we treat those without a voice. Activists. Extremists. Realest.
