The music of Lian Amber features an eclectic mix of her profound, heartfelt vocals, unique songwriting and world-soul arrangements. She is currently recording her first album of original material, which features Neal and Al Evans of Soulive, dj Cheb i Sabbah, Didi Gutman of Brazilian Girls, David "Fuze" Fiuczynski of Screaming Headless Torsos, Gbatokai Dakinah, Jr., Elie Katz, Daniel Sadownick, and Adam Rogers.
Lian was featured on the Hector Zazou & Harold Budd album "Glyph" (Crammed Disc Records), and her contribution, "And She Stepped Aside" was a popular favorite on "Morning Becomes Eclectic" on Los Angeles radio station KPFA. She also co-wrote and performed "Who Will Accept My Tears" on a recording by her frequent collaborator, guitarist Dave Manley that was released in 1999. She has performed extensively in New York and San Francisco, toured much of Europe performing as a guest with David Fiuczynski's KiF and Screaming Headless Torsos, and was featured on the 2001 KiF CD by David Fiuczynski and Rufus Cappadocia.
Lian is a renaissance woman and entrepreneur who has worked at many endeavors. She spent the last 10 years as President of independent record label FuzeLicious Morsels, where she was executive producer, DVD producer, graphic and web designer, publicist and promoter, overseeing every business aspect of eight CD releases and double live DVD for guitarist David Fiuczynski and his group Screaming Headless Torsos. She also was tour booker and manager, booking and producing numerous European and Latin American tours. Lian has also worked with numerous other artists on image development, presentation, logos and design, repertoire, promotion and publicity.
